Preventive Maintenance Services

Annual Maintenance Contracts

AMC Services is a form of Preventive Maintenance Contracts. It is the cornerstone of a solid cost-effective M&R (Maintenance & Repair) program. Nominally, in preventive maintenance equipment is inspected, maintained and protected before break down or before other problems occur.

Preventive Maintenance is accomplished on a fixed schedule or frequency and consists of many check-point activities on every item under the service. It reduces the risk of system or component failure, which, if occurs, would interfere with essential operations, endangers life or property, involves a high cost, or requires a long lead time for replacement.

The Generic Preventive Maintenance Plan –

  • 1 Year Cover
  •  4 Quarterly Services
  • Unlimited Free Complaint Services
  • Free Spares *

The AMC plans can be modified easily to suit specific requirements.

Corrective Maintenance

Complaint Services

In Corrective maintenance, contrary to preventive maintenance, equipment is repaired or replaced after wear, malfunction or break down. Corrective maintenance is to repair abrupt breakdown of equipment due to fatigue, misusage or any other unpredictable factors.

Corrective maintenance can be subdivided into “immediate corrective maintenance” (in which work starts immediately after a failure) and “deferred corrective maintenance” (in which work is delayed in conformance to a given set of maintenance rules).

The TAT (Turn-Around-Time) for our complaint services ranges from 12 hours to 48 hours.
The services include technical consultation, rectification services and product/spare support

The Complaint Service can be summed up as –
1 Engineer | 1 day | Problem Analysis / Solution | Spares Extra | First Come First Serve

Electronic Conversions

Connecting with latest technology

Weighing tech has never been so fast than it has been since the last decade. With this pace, the mechanical systems started getting obsolete. The reasons for this fade were – need for specialized engineers, low spares and service support, higher repair downtime and finally high maintenance cost.

The challenges posed my mechanical systems were finally answered by Electronic Conversions.
With technological advancements, product costs have gone down and system reliability has increased. Electronic conversion exploits this technological advancement to produce a highly reliable and robust system out of degrading mechanical equipment.

A typical electronic conversion process involves –

1. Elimination of unwanted mechanical weighing assembly
2. Necessary and minimum structural changes – Civil and Mechanical
3. Installation of electronic load sensors
4. Installation of electronic terminal
5. Calibration and final testing

Electronic conversion should be preceded with proper understanding of existing systems and expected output. Planning is paramount and can ease out implementation of the new system with higher profitability.

The electronically converted system has low up-front cost, has higher accuracy, has low maintenance cost and is technologically competitive

Metrology Services

Stamping Services

Stamping is a mandatory and non-negotiable process.
Every weight, measure, weighing machine, weighbridge and other weighing equipment has to be stamped on yearly basis by The Weights & Measures Department, Legal Metrology of India.

The Weights & Measures Department inspects the item over multiple parameters as per prescribed government standards and prepares a report for same. Only after everything is found in order, a verification certificate is issued to the customer that stays valid for a period of 1 year. In case of discrepancies, the item is rejected and blocked for further use.

We are licensed by The Weights & Measures Department and are well experienced for stamping processes.
We move the entire process with ease; we provide end to end stamping services, right from beginning to final verification certificate delivery at your doorstep.

Testing and Calibration Services

Testing and calibration ensures that your weighing equipment is accurate and reliable, that all the incoming material is received in full and none of the outgoing package carries extra

Why you need it?
Weight variations can add up to huge amount of monetary losses and certainly that’s not what we want

When you need it?
When your weighing machine/weighing equipment deviates from accuracy

How to do it?
1. Calibration with Test Weights
This process requires a set of test weights / weigh blocks to be used as the ‘known’ weight.
The machine/equipment is first checked thoroughly for mechanical as well as electronic inconsistencies. After checkup, the machine is tested for accuracy using the test weights. The differences between test weight values and machine outputs are matched using the applicable calibration procedure.

2. Calibration with Government Vehicle
This procedure is exclusive to only truck weighbridges.
The process of calibration stays same except the fact that instead of test weights a certified Government vehicle is used as ‘known’ weight. The machine/equipment is first checked thoroughly for mechanical as well as electronic inconsistencies. Its then tested for accuracy using the vehicle. In case of differences between the actual vehicle weight and weighbridge output, the weighbridge is calibrated and aligned with the vehicle weight using the applicable calibration procedure.

Partnership & Lease

Partnership & lease plans are exclusive and new offerings from EMT Weighmaster and is, for now, applicable to only electronic truck weighbridges.

Partnership
A partnership plan is the most benefitting plan for anyone who wants to get an electronic truck weighbridge installed

A partnership plan, as the name suggests, forges a business partnership between EMT Weighmaster and the interested partner. The selection of a business partner is done based on an underlying criteria set by our evaluation team. The partnership plan involves installation of an electronic weighbridge at selected and commercially viable partner premises at fraction of the total cost.

The scope of work, the terms & conditions of partnership and the financials are carved in the partnership agreement only after mutual discussion with the partner entity.

Weights on Rent

As per Weights & Measures Dept (Legal Metrology of India), every weighing equipment and system should be calibrated using stamped and tested weights.

The testing and calibration process for weighing equipments and systems is not a daily event and hence buying a chunk of weigh blocks seems like a worthless investment.

To solve the issue, we started providing caste iron weights on rental basis, as and when needed, for weighbridge and weighing machine calibration. Our rental services provide an easier and cost efficient way to calibrate your machines as per weights & measures standards using standard weigh blocks.

Along with solving the issue of calibration, rental services help you with following issues –

1. Cost – Weigh blocks come with a good price tag. Renting weigh blocks can save a huge amount of money in the form of upfront costs.
2. Storage – Weigh blocks take up quite a lot of space. Since they are not used frequently, maintenance also becomes problem.
3. Stampings – As per Weights & Measures compliance, weigh bocks should be stamped periodically. This again is a cost implication and a tedious process in itself. We provide stamped and tested weigh blocks which are ready to use.
